Andy Hudson appointed to UNCG clarinet faculty

A giant congratulations to Schwob clarinet studio grad Andy Hudson (BM performance, 2010)—he has been appointed full-time lecturer of clarinet at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro! He will be working alongside and in tandem with Professor Anthony Taylor. He is currently a DMA candidate at Northwestern University.

Andy's concert calendar this spring has included joining the mixed chamber ensemble Latitude 49, ensemble-in-residence at the University of Michigan and the Kenosha Creative Space. He is a member also of F-PLUS, a trio based in Chicago and New York. With the Zafa Collective he performed in Illinois and Indiana, and with earspace he completed a residency at UNC Chapel Hill in March. In January, he performed with Ensemble Dal Niente in their production of Michael Hersch's opera "On The Threshold of Winter." His concerto appearances this year include the Lake Forest College Orchestra and the Tennessee Valley Music Festival in Huntsville, AL.
