Students Win Four First Prizes at MTNA State Competition

Students of the Schwob School of Music stood out among their peers from across Georgia in playing solo recitals in the Senior and Young Artist Competitions of  the Music teachers National Association (MTNA) at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville Oct. 20-21.

CSU's first-prize winners in their categories were:


Eder Rivera, winner, Oboe, Young Artist Division
       Junior, BM Performance, student of Dr. Susan Tomkiewicz

Camron Bryant, winner, Horn, Young Artist Division
Sophomore, BM Performance, student of Dr. Natalie Higgins

Natalia Klenovskaya, winner, Violin, Young Artist Division
Artist Diploma, student of Prof. Sergiu Schwartz

Zachary McDonald received first prize for his composition, They say that change is good but I don’t like it. He is a Junior in Music Education and a composition student of Dr. James Ogburn
