CSU Students, Alumna place in MTNA National Competition

A quartet of Schwob School of Music students won Second Place among seven regional division winners competing in the MTNA national string chamber music competition, held in March in Las Vegas. Violinists Sophie Wang and McClaran Hayes, violist Mario Rivera, and cellist John Rogler were coached by Professor Boris Abramov.

CSU 2014 alumna Jeanette Luna, a former student of Professor Dian Lawler-Johnson, won Second Place in the  MTNA national Young Artist vocal competition. She is pursuing graduate work at UNC-Greensboro.
